Press report

Apeldoorn, Oktober 9th, 2007.

In 2008 no 24 hours run in Apeldoorn.

Three years ago was the last time the International 24 hours run of Apeldoorn was sponsored by Croon.

After that period the board of the Stichting 24-Uur Loop Apeldoorn did not succeed to find a new general sponsor or some other sponsors to support the 24 hours run.

In 2006 and 2007 could continued partly with the reserves of the Stchting (foundation).

The board of the foundation thinks it is not justified to organize another 24 hours run in 2008.

The board will trace the possibilities with new people, who can find other sources, to make a restart in 2009.

It hurts our haerts to take this decision after 28 years.

We thank all volunteers, businesses and services for supporting us through the years and making it possible to organize our event for 28 times.

The board of Stichting 24-Uur Loop Apeldoorn,

Frans van Melsen,

Acting secretary.
